At the end of march the frogs are moving to their spawning places. The males are waiting there for the females.
When the female frogs are at the spawning places the reproduction starts immediately for just a couple of days.
The spawn of the female frogs is seeded by the males. Then the spawn is getting a blob and is swimming on the top of the water. After a few days the grubs can eclose of the eggs. After being grubs and polliwogs for three months they are getting terrestrial animals. After 2 or 3 years the frogs are sexually mature.
